So I read The Hunger Games Trilogy over the weekend…

1st one: enjoyable, well paced, good drama and action.

2nd one: Ok, we’re getting a little Twilight-y here with the love triangle, but the second half picks up.

3rd one: SHUT THE FUCK UP KATNISS, DO YOU DO ANYTHING BUT PASS OUT OR GO HYSTERICAL?? I HATE ALL OF YOU EXCEPT THE ONES WHO DIE GODDAMMIT.

If I read ONE MORE GODDAMN BOOK with a female lead who does nothing but wallow or cry or pass out or let other people control her whole life and the ultimate end of the story is “I finally picked which boy I want to settle down with and poop out babies for” I AM GONNA LOSE IT. FUCK.
