Everyone needs to chill the fuck out about Elementary. Honestly. I really don’t see what the big deal is. There have been tons of Sherlock Holmes adaptations already and there will only be more as the years go on. It’s just a TV show. You don’t have to watch it. 

Also, why is everyone so fussed about Watson being female? Gender swapped Sherlock Holmes fic and art is all over the internet but all of a sudden it’s a huge problem because a TV show has done it? Really? 

I wasn’t even interested in checking the show out before but I think I’ll give it a chance now. I like the slight changes that they’ve made to the canon. It makes it unique and not just a rip off of Sherlock. But I guess people are just looking for reasons to hate it.
